The Nalpeiron Licensing Service™ Network Version

netNLS™ is a variation of the Nalpeiron Licensing Service™ (NLS) for Windows Networks.

netNLS™ has the main features of the node-locked version of the NLS but is used to control floating or concurrent users across a Local Area Network.

The product is designed to be installed and controlled in much the same way as the node locked version and also uses the same basic API and server side functionality.

There is no need for complex IP setup or the provision of a special server machine, in most cases it’s just install and go.

The core difference between the netNLS™ and other products is that it has been designed to be “drop shipped” to the end user and to function without any complex setup procedure – just run an installer on a designated workstation (server) and then activate like a node locked license. The only other step is then to roll out the application to the other workstations on the LAN and they will be controlled by the local “license server” workstation. nls

Post install changes to the licensing are as simple as a quick re-activation (no re-install) on the designated “license server” machine with all the rights being changeable on the fly at any time based on the remote Nalpeiron Licensing Service hosted system.

So developers can now decide on the number of seats, the application “rights”, various licensing models (like subscription and lease) and the control of features (modules) all remotely for 10,000’s users on a LAN on a per customer basis just a simply as they can a single user deployment.

Developers can deploy secure trials to their clients to run on a network just like they can a single machine, with all the core controls and functionality.
